Congratulations Adrian McEvoy

The Club held its AGM and the members were very grateful for the comprehensive presentation given by Hamish Scott from Racing Victoria about the works being undertaken to the track and the International Horse Centre.  The excitement among members was evident and the applause for the Club's future was gratefully received.

Congratulations to our new Committee man Adrian McEvoy who replaces the retiring Kevin Hillier. Adrian is a true racing man!

Adrian is a family man with a wife and two young daughters and is currently living in Lara.  Having grown up in Sydney, Adrian has been a Director of several sales & marketing companies over the past ten years.  Adrian has been based in Werribee for the past six years with his family and has operated his own local real estate agency.

Adrian has a passion for all sports but especially enjoys horse racing and is currently a part owner of two thoroughbreds, one of which is a four year old Galileo & the other they imported from New Zealand which is sired by Conquer.  Both are being trained by Mick Kent.

Adrian says he is looking forward to playing a part in bringing racing back to the West.

The Committee and members present at the AGM congratulate Adrian and look forward to his positive contribution to the Club coupled with a true love of racing.
